_ Terminal clusters of star-shaped purple/pink in full flower

_ Ranunculus acris (Meadow buttercup)

_ In full bright yellow flower

_ Hippuris vulgaris (Marestail)

_ Emerging from the water with bright green branched stems and tooth like buds

_ Tall erect or decumbent and bright green. Cone shaped buds are breaking from the tip
